SIU Andrology and Men’s Health Fellowship

Smith Institute for Urology
Andrology Fellowship

Andrology fellowship at Smith Institute for Urology (SUI) is a 1 or 2 year fully recognized by AUA  training program focused on clinical training in male infertility, sexual dysfunction, hormonal replacement, transgender medicine, and genital reconstruction.

The program has the highest number of fellowship-trained experts in male infertility and sexual medicine in the USA.

During the 12 months, the trainee will learn how to diagnose and treat patients with common and more esoteric problems.

The fellow rotates through clinical practices and performs cases with the faculty members. Ample opportunities for clinical and translational research exist within the fellowship program as well as Institution.

The program offers unique training experience in genital reconstruction, penile prosthesis placement, sling procedures for male incontinence, adolescent andrology, endocrinology, and LGBT urological issues.

We accept one fellow per year for the 2021/2022 academic year, with a possible increase to two fellows in the coming years.

We participate in the AUA match; however, we will consider candidates outside of the match and typical time frames.
